Chelsea FC Transfer Talk: Milan Skriniar, Window Ban
The international break provides a perfect opportunity to do some Chelsea FC transfer talk; even despite the ban in place. Sure the window closed across most of Europe only just last weekend, but it’s never too early to look ahead to the January, and even the next summer transfer window.
According to the Daily Mirror, Chelsea have been telling their agents that they should be ready to do business come January. In other words, they feel pretty confident about their appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Stamford Bridge have appealed to have the transfer ban reduced to the one window they have already served.
Elsewhere in Chelsea transfer news of the day, the Blues are reportedly after Inter Milan centre half Milan Skriniar, a player targeted by United this summer. Chelsea will likely have some competition for Skriniar from Manchester City, who are now looking to beef up the back line in the injury absence of Aymeric Laporte.
This according to the Sunday Express, who add that Inter believe Skriniar to be one of the best young defenders in Italy, and want to do whatever they can to hold on to him.
