‘Concern’ – Manchester United issue injury update on two key players
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has issued an injury update on midfielder Scott McTominay and defender Harry Maguire.
The pair both picked up knocks in the Red Devils ‘ 3-0 Europa League defeat of Partizan Belgrade at Old Trafford last night.
Maguire, a summer signing from Leicester City for a world-record fee for a defender, completed the match but Scotland international McTominay was substituted for Jesse Lingard with 15 minutes remaining.
United moved two points clear of AZ Alkmaar at the top of Group L, with Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford on the scoresheet for Solskjaer’s side.
