Crystal Palace ace mocks Premier League rivals on Twitter

Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend has mocked Brighton & Hove Albion on Twitter.

The Seagulls had been trying to take their rivalry to the console, calling for Neal Maupay and the former Palace man to play a game of FIFA at 3pm on Saturday

They suggested it is “time to give the fans what they want”, but Townsend took this as an opportunity to mock them, stating that Eagles fans got that last time they met on the pitch.

He also attached a GIF of Jordan Ayew scoring the only goal of that game, having been played through by Christian Benteke, as Roy Hodgson’s side left the Amex with all three points.

This game has ultimately given Palace the bragging rights over their rivals, as in addition to the fact they are 10 points ahead in the table, the other league game ended in a draw.

Therefore, Palace have already proven their edge over Brighton for this season on the pitch, there really isn’t much need for them to do it on FIFA.
