More on CAS verdict
CAS have ruled UEFA’s two-year ban was too harsh.
They say Man City have contravened Article 56 of the Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations.
They’ve been found guilty of failing to cooperate with UEFA authorities, but not of disguising equity funding as sponsorship
And CAS say most of the alleged breaches reported were either not established or time-barred.
As well as lifting the ban, they’ve also reduced City’s fine to €10m.
UEFA could now take the case to the Swiss Federal tribunal, but the chances are slim.
