Man City away dressing room has no lights before crucial Burnley clash
Failure to win against Burnley would give Liverpool the chance to extend their lead to a massive 15 points when they compete in a Merseyside derby on Wednesday and could see the title race come to an end before the new year.
The importance of the match can’t be disputed and Pep Guardiola must be frustrated as his preparations have been hampered at Turf Moor.
City arrived to find that the away dressing room and tunnel was without lights, making it impossible to get changed and prepare for the game.
City’s stars had to wait while staff at Burnley brought in temporary lighting so they could see, but it’s far from ideal.
Although City were able to find humour in the inconvenience.
Light was restored to the dressing room just prior to kick-off and was caused by a fault in a fuse.
Kick-off from Turf Moor is scheduled at 8:15pm.
