Newcastle and Everton can sign Mohammed Kudus for bargain fee
Newcastle United and Everton are reportedly interested in signing FC Nordsjaelland midfielder Mohammed Kudus this summer, and Italian newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport claim the teenage star could be available for a bargain figure.
France Football have claimed that Newcastle and Everton are interested in signing two-time Ghana international Kudus this summer, after the 19-year-old netted nine goals in just 19 league games in the top tier of Danish football.
Having previously scored three goals from 30 appearances as a midfielder last season, Kudus has seen his goal return improve enormously since being used as a striker. Kudus even scored on his Ghana debut during a 2-0 win over South Africa.
Now, Kudus is attracting big European clubs. The initial report claims Rennes are rivalling Newcastle and Everton, while GDS claim Lazio are also interested in landing Kudus, with Nordsjaelland willing to let him go for just £4.5million at most.
TBR’s view – Kudus has enormous resale value, a no-brainer
Especially if either Newcastle or Everton land the teenager for such a bargain price. It is already becoming clear that Kudus is too good for the Danish Superliga, given that he is a regular as a striker or in midfield at the tender age of 19.
A move to either Premier League side would be good business, with the wisest move being that he is loaned back to Nordsjaelland for the 2020-21 campaign. At £4.5million, Newcastle and Everton could land themselves a bargain.
