Portsmouth live: the latest transfer news as Premier League Crystal Palace chase Blues keeper
Despite Pompey suffering League One play-off defeat against Oxford United a week ago, there’s already been plenty of news coming out of Fratton Park.
The most significant of all is that Alex Bass is wanted by Crystal Palace.
The keeper has made an impressive impact since he wrestled the No1 spot from Craig MacGillivray on New Year’s Day.
If Bass were to leave for the Premier League side then it would be in a multimillion-pound deal.
Meanwhile, the Blues continue to pursue a switch for Barnsley’s Cameron McGeehan.
The midfielder spent the second half of the campaign on loan at PO4 and Pompey are exploring the option of another temporary deal for next term.
There’s all the other usual news that we’ll also be keeping you updated with, as well as anything regarding when next season will start.
