‘Weren’t good enough’ – Wolves fans react to Leicester City draw

Wolverhampton Wanderers fans are not a happy bunch this evening.

The West Midlands club were forced to settle for a draw against Leicester City at Molineux, the second goalless draw of the season between the two clubs.

But it might have been different had VAR not interveined.

Just before half-time, Willy Boly appeared to put the home side ahead, only for VAR to step in and rule the goal out for an offside by the finest of margins, Pedro Neto very slightly on the wrong side of his man before delivering a cross.

Wolves were hoping to close the gap between the two sides heading into tonight but it will now remain at 14 points, the home side also failing to take advantage of Hamza Choudhury’s red card 14 minutes from time.

Wolves fans have been reacting to the game on social media tonight.

Here’s what a selection have had to say…

Wolves are next in action against La Liga strugglers Espanyol in the Europa League next week.

The Foxes take on Manchester City at home next weekend.
