Wolves interested in signing Rayan Ait Nour, Manchester United and City keen along with Crystal Palace
According to a report from Foot Mercato, Wolves are among a number of Premier League clubs interested in signing French wing-back, Rayan Ait Nouri.
The 19-year-old Angers man has been in fine form for the Ligue 1 outfit this term, playing 17 times in what was a breakthrough season for the Frenchman.
Impressively, Ait Nouri has provided three assists in those 17 games, showing to onlooking scouts and clubs that he does indeed have an end product.
And it seems that those numbers have caught the eye of Premier League clubs, with FM reporting that Wolves and Crystal Palace are trying to sign the teenager.
However, there is heavy competition for Ait Nouri. None more so than from the Manchester clubs, where it is believed the left-sided flyer has already been to visit the city in anticipation of a move.
Wolves, though, will be hoping to tempt the youngster with their project and the potential of more game time. Jonny Otto is the main man at Molineux down the left, but Nuno Santo needs numbers this summer, meaning Ait Nouri might be an ideal fit.
Exciting prospect and in-demand, Wolves would do well to win this race – TBR View
Wolves is a brilliant football club on the up at the moment. They have an enigmatic manager with fresh ideas and a squad that, on its day, is capable of beating anyone.
But they won’t stand much chance of beating the Manchester giants to Ait Nouri’s signature you’d assume. Despite more minutes likely to be on offer, the lure of City and United remains massive.
However, Wolves fancy themselves as a big club, too. Therefore, don’t be fully surprised to see them pop up and win the race.
